#SouthernSiriSays Takes Over Twitter
If you've lived in the South for long, you know we have our own sense of humor. We have some interesting sayings down here, and sometimes the rest of the country just doesn't understand our unique culture.
The past few days, #SouthernSiriSays has been a trending hashtag on Twitter, and we just had to share some of our favorites with y'all!
1. Sweet Tea
Yankees don't get our love of some good ole sweet tea. That's okay, though. More for us.
2. Mind Your Manners
Our mommas raised us right! Southern Siri doesn't take any attitude from you!
3. Y'all Come Back Now, Ya Hear?
Dolly Parton is a national treasure, but we love her a little extra in the South. This saying is now a common phrase below the Mason-Dixon Line!
4. Snowday Preparations
Look, we get 1/4 of an inch of snow every three years down here. Can they really blame us for going into a small panic when winter weather threatens to hit?
5. The Weather
Bless the hearts of all our meteorologists who try to no avail to predict the weather. This is the only place in the world that experiences all four seasons in one day.
We have a tendency to come up with our own way of saying things, and that's exactly how we like it.
7. Polite Insults
Just because she said it in a sweet tone doesn't mean it wasn't an insult, darlin'.
8. Bless Your Heart!
Probably the most common saying in the South. We've mastered the art of insulting someone and being polite simultaneously.
Mrs. K knows what's up. The South is the best place to be.
